Brief: Urban Outfitters is a popular retailer where you can find assorted products from apparel to vintage products like record players and typewriters and even home decor. We wanted to create a way their brand could live in video, as advertising that isn’t pushing in your face but instead as a lifestyle.
Solution: This branded content video embraces the products through hipster culture, showcasing that there's someone who shares the same interests as you. The inspiration for the tone of the video came from Wes Anderson; we wanted to capture an essence of his quirkiness through styling, symmetry and colors.
