GOOGLE HOME HUB LAUNCH SERIES

Brief: Google Home Hub is a new product by Google to help you get fast and visual help, hands-free. Design a series of emails including Pre-order, Buy Now, Welcome and four on-boarding emails. Objective was to:
1. Welcome new and existing users to their Hub device
2. Educate them on how to make the most of their device whether it’s their first Google Home or an additional device
3. Deliver the thoughtful home positioning through solution-based messaging

Solution: We created a full series that educated users about this new product while still maintaining brand identity but giving a new look just for Google Home Hub; in this case the rounded card edges reflected the device shape itself. Each email contained Hero GIFS to show what the product can do and lifestyle photography to show its usefulness.

GOOGLE HOME NEWSLETTER DESIGN

Brief: Design a global biweekly newsletter for Google Home smart device users that educates users on new features released weekly, third party partners, timely use-cases, promotions, in-store offers, and more.

Solution:
Our team discovers and tests ever-evolving features, then personalizes and versions modular e-newsletters to Home users. Based on what combination of Home devices you have, you get a curated biweekly email teaching users new actions like how to shop, host a family game night, or even sharpen your Jedi mind skills.

GOOGLE HOME REFERRAL EMAIL PROGRAM

Brief: Leverage customer advocacy and target current Google Home power users with a Give/Get referral program to drive Google Home Mini sales. Encourage these power users to share their promo codes with a friend to redeem for a discounted mini and then spend their own reward in the Google Store.

Solution: We created a three email system which included an announcement, reminder and reward email to entice potential users to share with their friends. In order to make this program easily sharable we included 2 ways to share, by text and also by email. For imagery we used product shots to show what they were giving their friend but then other Google products to show what they could receive on their end from the Google Store.

GOOGLE CHROMECAST ONBOARDING

Brief: Create a series of emails to drive increased usage by welcoming new users to their Chromecast device and inspiring them to discover full functionality of streaming capabilities. Also to educate users on benefits of pairing Chromecast with additional Google hardware and complementary Chromecast features beyond streaming.

Solution: We created a series of emails that educates and inspires users with thoughtful design by leveraging lifestyle photography, showing the Google Home app user experience through GIFS, and direct and understandable copywriting. We kept the design feel in the Google family but gave Chromecast a unique look with white gradients on the hero images, full bleed images in modules, removing cards but alternating between gray and white backgrounds to differentiate modules.
